Treats and Trains (On Site Event) October 27 $5 Admission
Join us for Trains and Treats in Owosso on Saturday, October 29, between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. as we celebrate Halloween in true train fashion. The fun starts at 11 a.m. with free rides on our 7-1/2 gauge miniature railway. Kids can pick out their own pumpkins in the Pumpkin Patch area and enjoy cider and donuts while sitting around the campfire. Inside the Visitors Center, kids can “bob” for apples and then dip them in caramel. While they cool, kids can decorate their pumpkins and listen to Halloween stories.
Back outside, visitors can enjoy caboose rides and try our pumpkin pie with homemade ice cream from Spagnuolos. Make sure the kids wear their costumes for the costume parade at 1 p.m. On the way out, each child will get a bag of “goodies” to take home.
