steam community? Launch your image(s) into the spotlight by entering our 2026 calendar photo contest!  All winners will receive a FREE calendar featuring their photo, and an entry into a winner-only cab ride in 1225! 

How to enter:

1. Submit your high-resolution photo and required information to sales@michigansteamtrain.com or by clicking the link below. 
2. Entry deadline: July 13th by 11:59pm
3. That’s it! Images will be judged by the SRI Media and Marketing team, and winners will be notified soon after by email.

Requirements:

1. Image(s) subject focuses on Steam Railroading Institute equipment and events
2. Image(s) submitted via email to sales@michigansteamtrain.com by July 13 by 11:59pm.
3. Maximum of 5 entries per entrant. Maximum of 2 winning entries per entrant
4. Required information that must accompany photo in email:
   -Your Full Name
   -Location photo was taken
   -Year taken
   -Title of image (optional)
5. Image(s) must be .PNG or .JPG files. NO OTHER FILE TYPES WILL BE ACCEPTED
6. Image(s) must be high, printable resolution (300 dpi)
7. Image(s) must be in horizontal orientation
8. Image(s) must be the sole original work by the entrant. NO computer generated, or prompted images (AI) of any kind accepted
9. Image(s) cannot be watermarked, or contain any text, logos, etc. on the image file
10. Photos taken by drone cameras are eligible only if the drone is registered with the FAA, was flown in accordance with the FAA’s Special Rule for Model Aircraft and federal and state laws,
    and did not violate U.S. airspace restrictions
11. By entering the contest, each entrant grants to Steam Railroading Institute an exclusive, and irrevocable right and license to publish, print, edit or otherwise use the entrant’s submitted entry, for any purpose without limitation or further compensation
